Daley Will Not Seek Re-Election

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley says he will not run for re-election in 2011, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Said Daley: "The truth is I have been thinking about this for the past several months. In the end this is a personal decision, no more, no less."

Meanwhile, all eyes turn to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, who has made no secret of his desire to be Daley's successor.
